Geo is Growing

GEO Heat Exchangers, LLC is growing!  The post-Covid wave of maintenance requirements has been characterized by steadily growing demand for heat exchanger repairs, retubes and replacements.

A great deal of maintenance was put off through the 2020-21 Covid crisis.  This has pushed critical equipment to “on-borrowed-time”  status due to the extended wear and tear.  Also, current signs and feedback from clients indicate this echo-boom of repairs will continue steady for another couple of years while petrochemical plants and refineries work hard to catch-up.

Compounding the challenge is the loss of head-count and expertise.  As we all know, downsizing occurred during Covid, making it more challenging for those left to keep equipment reliable.  Many of those who left were our most senior folks and brain trusts of equipment histories.  That loss of immediate access to historical continuity slows down the repair and planning process…adding a further challenge.

Also interesting … our industry is giving greater time, consideration and scrutiny to metallurgical choices and requirements. GEO is advising/assessing metallurgical Pros/Cons with customers weekly.

IN RESPONSE TO THESE MARKET CONDITIONS … GEO is leaning-in and growing their team/organization.

GEO has always been on the lookout for good people to strengthen their family. With todays heightened demand GEO is adding talent and headcount across a range of departments.

Simultaneously, GEO have purchased 8 additional acres and broke-ground on their 4th expansion … adding another 12,000 SQFT shop to ensure GEO continues to be a primary resource to its customers for urgent, as well as, standard delivery repairs and replacements.  I’ll send you updates in the coming months.

It is exciting to see the team at GEO Heat Exchanger growing from a position of strength and continuing to provide state of the art, precision heat exchanger equipment to the loyal customer base they enjoy.  In addition to heat exchanger repairs, retubes, parts, new fabrication and field service support … keep GEO in mind for these specialty services:

  • Fin-Fan Retubes
  • Pressure Vessel Fabrication
  • Weld Repair
  • Machining
  • Bolt Torquing
  • Inspection & Testing Services
  • Tapered Tube Plugs & Pop-A-Plugs
  • Cleaning, Coating, & Painting

RECOMMENDATION: Stay ahead of the crowd.  During these busy times, I recommend planning-out your turnaround and heat exchanger needs at least six months EARLIER than pre-Covid years.
